Leaving Wellington. Our van is the second large white one on the left.

Coming into the Marlborough Sounds.

Stopped the van to take a picture of this pig hunter in the Marlborough area. After initially being a bit surprised by my interest, he quite got into posing, and came up with this - astride the beast and holding the ears - pose. It was killed in the woods by his fearsome looking muts. They don't have any dangerous dog laws here.

The only way to avoid, NZ's best ket seceret - sand flies - at Pelorus Bridge.
